At Danyells Foods, customer satisfaction is important to us. We take pride in delivering high-quality Afro-Caribbean food products. This Refund and Returns Policy explains when and how refunds or replacements may be issued.
1. Perishable Goods
Due to the nature of our products, most food items are perishable and non-returnable. For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on perishable goods once they have been delivered, unless the items are faulty or damaged.
2. Damaged or Faulty Items
If you receive an item that is:
- Damaged
- Faulty
- Incorrect
- Not as described
Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the product and packaging
We will assess the issue and offer one of the following where appropriate:
- A replacement
- A partial refund
- A full refund
3. Missing Items
If an item is missing from your order, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery. Once verified, we will arrange a replacement or refund.
4. Non-Perishable Items
For non-perishable goods:
- Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging
- Return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty
Refunds will be processed after we receive and inspect the returned item.
5. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Refunds may take 5–10 working days to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider
Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the issue was caused by us.
6. Order Cancellations
Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch. Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation is no longer possible.
7. Allergens
Please review product descriptions and allergen information carefully before ordering. Refunds will not be issued for allergic reactions where allergen information was clearly provided.
